PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

PRP is a treatment that harnesses the healing properties of plasma, a component found in your blood. Plasma contains proteins that support cell growth and tissue repair.

During a PRP facial, a small amount of blood is extracted from the patient, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the rest of the blood components.

The isolated PRP is then injected into the skin tissues, where it stimulates the body's natural healing processes.

PRP for Hair Loss :

  • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair loss is a popular and effective treatment option with several benefits:

  • Natural Solution: PRP therapy utilizes the patient's own blood, making it a natural and safe treatment option.

  • Stimulates Hair Growth: PRP contains growth factors that stimulate hair follicles, promoting hair growth and thickness.

  • Improves Hair Density: By enhancing hair follicle health and stimulating dormant follicles, PRP therapy can lead to increased hair density.

  • Reduces Hair Loss: PRP therapy can help reduce hair shedding and prevent further hair loss, especially in patients with conditions like androgenetic alopecia.

  • Minimal Downtime: PRP treatments typically involve minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume their normal activities shortly after the procedure.

  • Non-Surgical: PRP therapy is a non-surgical treatment option for hair loss, making it a convenient choice for individuals seeking to address hair thinning without undergoing surgery.

  • Safe and Well-Tolerated: PRP therapy is generally safe and well-tolerated, with minimal risk of adverse reactions or complications.

PRP Facial for Skin Rejuvenation :

PRP facial treatments are highly effective for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging purposes. Here are some of the concerns that PRP injections can address:

  • Skin Elasticity and Volume Loss: PRP promotes collagen and elastin production, improving skin firmness and restoring lost volume.

  • Crow’s Feet and Dark Under-Eye Circles: PRP injections can reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and diminish dark circles under the eyes, resulting in a more refreshed and youthful appearance.

  • Acne Scarring: PRP stimulates tissue regeneration, helping to minimize the appearance of acne scars and improve overall skin texture.

  • Dull Skin Complexion: PRP treatments enhance skin radiance by promoting cell turnover and rejuvenating the skin, resulting in a brighter and more vibrant complexion.

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles: PRP injections target fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing out the skin and reducing the signs of aging.

PRP for Dull Under-Eyes :

Benefits of PRP Facial Treatment for the under-eye area include:

  • Tightening of under-eye skin

  • Reduction of puffiness

  • Diminished appearance of darkened and hollow under eyes

For optimal results, we recommend a course of 3 PRP under-eyes treatments spaced one month apart. A top-up treatment can then be provided 6-12 months later to maintain the desired results.

When will I see the results?

Facial Rejuvenation: Many patients start noticing improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall appearance within a few weeks after PRP facial treatment. However, optimal results typically become more apparent after 2-3 months as collagen production increases and skin regeneration takes place.

Hair Restoration: Results from PRP therapy for hair loss may take longer to become noticeable. While some patients may observe decreased hair shedding within a few weeks, visible improvements in hair density and thickness often become apparent after 3-6 months of consistent treatment sessions. Continued improvement can occur over the following months as dormant hair follicles are stimulated to produce new hair growth.

Aftercare Process for Face & Hair:

Essential Tips for Optimal Results

  • Avoid Touching or Washing: Refrain from touching or washing the treated areas for at least 4-6 hours post-treatment to allow the PRP to fully penetrate the skin or scalp.

  • Use Gentle Products: When washing your face or hair, use gentle, non-irritating products to avoid disrupting the healing process.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure to the treated areas for at least 24-48 hours after the procedure to prevent irritation or sun damage.

  • Moisturize: Keep the treated skin hydrated by applying a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer regularly.

  • Avoid Makeup and Hair Products: Refrain from using makeup or hair products for at least 24 hours post-treatment to prevent clogging pores or interfering with the PRP's effects.

  • Avoid Heat Styling: Avoid using heat styling tools on your hair for a few days post-treatment to prevent damage and allow the PRP to work effectively.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin and scalp hydrated, which aids in the healing process and enhances the results of PRP therapy.

  • Follow-Up Care: Attend any follow-up appointments as recommended by your healthcare provider to monitor your progress and address any concerns.

  • Be Patient: Results from PRP therapy may take time to fully manifest. Be patient and consistent with your aftercare routine for optimal results.

  • Consult Your Provider: If you experience any unusual or concerning symptoms after treatment, such as excessive redness, swelling, or pain, contact your healthcare provider promptly.
